On this page
This guide is for organization administrators, the people who run their company's or team's training space. It walks through the admin panel, explains how your organization's website relates to your training provider's main site, and shows how to make sure you sign in in the right place.
Where to find it
The organization admin panel lives at /org-admin on your organization's own website address. That address is either a subdomain of your provider's site (your organization's name in front of the provider's domain) or a custom domain that has been connected for your organization.
- Open your organization's website address in a browser.
- Sign in at /login on that same address.
- Go to /org-admin.
Once you are inside, look at the bottom of the left sidebar: a View Site link opens your organization's public site in a new tab, so you can check what learners and visitors see, and a Knowledge Base link (the last item) opens these guides.
Your organization's site vs the main site
Your training provider runs a main site, and your organization has its own site underneath it, with its own address. Your organization's site is where:
- your learners sign in and take their training,
- visitors see your catalog and public pages,
- you sign in to reach the admin panel.
Depending on your plan, your site can also carry your own branding, theme, and domain. Those settings live under Settings in the sidebar, which is split into tabs such as Branding, Theme & Pages, Email, Tax, and Domains (the tabs you see depend on your plan). See Branding and your storefront for details.
Signing in on the right website
Sign-ins are per website address. Being signed in on your provider's main site does not sign you in on your organization's site, and the reverse is also true. Each website keeps its own session.
Just as important: accounts belong to a website. When you sign in, the platform only looks for accounts that belong to the specific site you are on. Your organization admin account belongs to your organization's site, so that is where your email and password work. If the main site rejects credentials you are sure are correct, you are almost certainly on the wrong website, not locked out.
A quick tour of the panel
The dashboard greets you with headline numbers for your organization: Available Courses, Total Users, Active Enrollments, Seat Utilization, Expiring Certificates, and Published Events, plus quick actions and any upcoming events you are registered for.
The left sidebar is where everything lives. Depending on your permissions and your plan, you may see: Dashboard, Users, Groups, Access Codes, Courses, Enrollments, Events, Products, Quizzes, Evaluations, Grading, Attendance, Support Tickets, Inquiries, Blog, Certificates, Documents, Media Library, Compliance, Orders, Billing & Subscriptions, Reports, and Settings, followed by the View Site and Knowledge Base links.
Do not worry if your sidebar is shorter than that list. Items appear only when your account has the matching permission and your organization's plan includes the feature. Your plan and features explains exactly how that filtering works.
In the header you will find a notification bell and your avatar menu, which holds your Profile and Notifications settings and the sign-out action. If you hold more than one role, a role switcher also appears in the header.
Why did this happen?
Why is a menu item missing that these guides mention?
The sidebar filters every item by two things at once: your account's permission for that area, and whether your organization's plan tier includes the feature. If either check fails, the item is hidden. A few features are also add-ons that are enabled separately from the plan. See Your plan and features for how to check what your plan includes.
The main site says my email or password is incorrect, but I know it is right. Why?
Accounts belong to the website where they were created, and each sign-in only matches accounts belonging to that site. Your organization admin account belongs to your organization's own website address, so sign in there. The same email address can even exist as separate, unrelated accounts on different sites of the same provider.
I signed in on our organization's site, then opened the provider's main site, and I was not signed in there. Why?
That is expected. Sessions are kept per website address, so signing in on one site never carries over to another, even when the two sites belong to the same provider.
Why did my sidebar suddenly shrink to a short, personal menu?
You probably also hold a group leader role. Group leaders use the same /org-admin panel with a slimmer menu focused on their own groups and purchases. The header role switcher controls which view you get, so switching your active role back to organization admin restores the full menu. The web address does not change either way, which is why the swap can look mysterious.
Where is my profile page?
The standalone profile page was removed. Your profile now opens as a popup from the avatar menu in the top-right corner of the panel, alongside your notification settings. Old links to the profile page simply return you to the dashboard.
